Get’er Done

If you took a moment to reflect on 2010,  how would it make you feel about 2011? Experiences are one thing, products are another. Experience helps build your character, what you produce say a lot about your character. Take a moment to think about what you accomplished. Were you promoted at work? Build a new list of clients? Shipped that amazing product you have been waiting for? In 2002 former Best Buy HR managers, Cali Ressler and Jody Thompson, coined the term ROWE. ROWE stands for, “results oriented work environment.” These guys understood what this does to the being. Instead of checking in to check out, you are graded by what you produce. What if you implemented this model for the new year? Instead of waking up to go to sleep you didn’t sleep until you produced results? There is a time to experience and a time to produce. I know for me, 2011 is a year of production.
